The second book of "Portraits", the collaborative series by Claudio Pogo, Magdalena Wysocka and Jörg Michel of POLA Berlin, Studio for Landscape Architecture, which translates the feel of a landscape into book form. Marked 1:5 on its linen cover, Portrait #2 is a book of colour photographs of vegetation: grasses, ferns, foliage and flowering stalks, several of them composed of interleaved vertical strips and printed in saturated reds, blues and greens, with full-bleed spreads alternating with small images centred on white pages.
