Objektiv Press
Objektiv Press is an Oslo publisher of essay books about photography and lens-based art, founded in 2009 by Nina Strand together with Ida Kierulf and Susanne Østby Sæther, and it began as a biannual publication with a focus on photography. Since 2020 it has published essay publications that give one person the time and space to present a longer essay on photography, together with the Afterimage series of its journal. It is distributed in Scandinavia and Europe by Antenne Books and in the United States by Printed Matter, it is funded by Fritt Ord, the Arts Council Norway and the Norwegian Photographic Fund, and it does not accept unsolicited submissions.
