The catalogue of the exhibition held in the bastions of the Castello Carlo V in Lecce, edited by Flavia Parisi and Alice Caracciolo and printed in a run of a hundred and sixty copies. Homo ludens — the playing human of Johan Huizinga's title — names the side of Cresci's practice in which the rule, the game and the invented protocol are the way the work is made: something is set up, a constraint is accepted, and the picture is what comes out of playing it through.
