The volume brings together the pictures Cresci made in 1990 of the rural world of the Aosta Valley and two new series made for the occasion: one built on the early twentieth-century plates of Émile Bionaz, the priest-photographer of Saint-Nicolas, and one on the objects held in the museum of local craft at Fénis. It is a journey through time offered as a homage to a territory, to its history and to its culture.
