The pictures Cresci uses in this volume, devoted to his Roman work of 1968, are experimental: involuntary multiple exposures on 35 mm film, or "poor" prints; heliographic works derived from a self-positive matrix applied to the pages of the weekly L'Espresso; and finally frames from a 16 mm film shot by a friend during the clashes of Valle Giulia, projected with an enlarger onto photosensitive paper.
