Pictures made between 2010 and 2016 on the Costa Tropical, the coastline of the province of Granada, and made almost entirely in the hours when the sun is at its hardest. Explored at that intensity the place turns strange: comedy, tragedy and plain absurdity coexist in a reality that looks like a film nobody wrote. The book is a trip into a territory that is at once original and sovereign, somewhere between fiction and record, between documentary evidence and what the person holding the camera happened to feel.

ABOUT

SpineIndex is an archive of independent books on photography and visual culture: photobooks, publications, design books and self-published editions — the kind of work that rarely makes it into bookshop windows or mainstream catalogues. It exists to document, connect, and keep visible a world of publishers, artists, and makers who operate outside conventional distribution. A living reference for anyone who takes this territory seriously — collectors, researchers, students, and the simply curious.
