In the alpine environment the experiences of three communities have always converged: the Italian one of the Aosta Valley, the Swiss one of Martigny and the French one of Chamonix. Three communities of children, on a single extraordinary territory. The exhibition at the castle of Verrès in the Aosta Valley, documented by this volume, is organised in three sections: one on traditions, built with archive material, and two devoted to how children live and photograph the mountains today.
