The pictures in Hütten, Hecken, Haufen (the second book by Ingar Krauss at Hartmann Books after 39 Bilder of 2016) show nature ordered by humans. In the laconic views of rural allotment gardens, which Ingar Krauss took between 2010 and 2017 mainly in Brandenburg, are found condensed traces of human efforts at order, which in the picture structure take on graphic and sculptural dimensions. In the Black Forest, pictures of woodpiles and stacks arose, whose abstract forms fit organically into their natural surroundings.
