In 1977 Masahisa Fukase turned his lens towards his new companion, Sasuke, a young cat taken in by the photographer, who had been fond of animals since childhood. Sasuke disappeared; a neighbour thought she had found him. Sasuke is another cat, and Fukase knows it, but decides to adopt him. The creature is the central subject of this volume, joined later by Momoe, his second companion: gentle, free and full of love.
