The documentary photographer Lina Pallotta gathers here pictures made since the 1990s of her friend Porpora Marcasciano, the Italian transgender activist. The volume tells the story of an individual life placed at the service of collective action. Mixed with archive material collected from Italian TLBGQI+ associations, Porpora bears witness to an experience erased from history and questions the visibility of transgender realities.
