Effimero — from the late Latin ephemerus, that which lasts a single day — is a poetic homage in pictures to the mountains. “Antonio Di Cecco's landscapes rest on the thinnest, most evanescent entities. They force us to peer into what appears indistinct, mobile, without matter. A constant work of subtracting weight, now from the already rarefied air, now from the human figures, now from the gaze itself. The search for a thoughtful lightness. What comes out of it is a world almost without gravity.” (Alberto Bazzucchi)
