Quim Vives presents his book as a photographic sequence of images from the film Saben Aquell, directed by David Trueba, which tells of a moment in the life of the humorist Eugenio. These images are combined with personal texts by David Trueba himself, in which he analyzes, in the first person, the film using, as tools in his discourse, the terms "fiction" and "the real".

Eugenio was a very popular character in Spain from the late 1980s to the mid 1990s, a comedian who transversely reached many homes. David Trueba, in addition to his cinematographic facet, is characterized by his career as a writer and journalist, with his own genuine charisma; the actors David Verdaguer and Carolina Yuste offer a stunning performance.
