The oceans are the origin of life on Earth, yet they remain among the least explored and most threatened places on the planet. Published for the first major Italian exhibition on David Doubilet at Villa Bardini in Florence and curated by Marco Cattaneo, the book is a powerful visual immersion into the submerged world through more than eighty images spanning half a century of exploration among coral reefs, kelp forests, sunken wrecks and sea creatures at the edge of the real.
