Catalogue of the 16th edition of the international photography festival, conceived as a space of freedom to renew the experience of looking at a national landscape that is now saturated with images, absorbed and tamed by advertising and social media. Thirty-three exhibition itineraries form a choral fresco, without geographic constraints, in which masters and contemporary authors, among them Joel Sternfeld, Candida Höfer, Gabriele Basilico, Angelo Leonardo, Sohei Nishino, Botto&Bruno and Kourtney Roy, explore the fractures and wonders of the present. It closes with Peninsula, a special commission entrusted to ten contemporary artists. The project is split into two physically linked volumes.
