This book rescues from oblivion the origins of Spanish Naval Aeronautics through nearly three hundred images, many of them unpublished, the result of exhaustive research. A visual chronicle of those first aircraft that left the aerodrome and the port of Barcelona and symbolised the progress and modernity of the 1920s. Alongside this singular photographic look at a vanished time, the pages are filled with detailed information on its protagonists and witnesses, the workshops, the airport facilities and the different models and machines that wrote a fascinating chapter in the history of aviation.
