Indignation was the real driver. That's what pushed me to make this project. A sense of anger and bewilderment in the face of the international mockery for the public and private antics of the then-prime minister Berlusconi. Italy, through the filter of Berlusconism, had become a ridiculous circus staging depressing spectacles. So… it made sense to shine a spotlight on that pathetic nonsense. Allowing oneself the luxury of denunciation, and of more than a smile.
