The book is conceived as an investigation, or rather an undefinable quest, plunging into a dark, grave universe whose first impression is a sudden loss of bearings. Composing this empty, timeless set, the author sends the viewer toward an unknown "Distance", a slow, uncertain progression through a landscape gradually marked by codified landmarks placed with precision, indeterminate objects of openly artificial matter seeming to exist in an inaccessible space, exhaling the scent of oblivion; phantom figures wander these pages, their shadows recalling Freud, Kafka and Tarkovsky as pieces of a puzzle reconstructed step by step.
