CCP.PE.ZINE series

Street is a collection of images made across Melbourne: portraits and candid photographs of the everyday, of people's experience of daily life in a city that is going through visible changes. These images have been selected from thousands made over recent years, and they provide an imperfect snapshot of fleeting encounters with people momentarily fixed into photographs. CCP.PE.ZINE is a collaborative publishing initiative from the Centre for Contemporary Photography (CCP) and Perimeter Editions, dedicated to providing a platform for emerging photographic artists to exhibit their work in an accessible zine format. Hussein Abdirahman Mohamud is a photographer, writer, and psychoanalyst in training based in Naarm / Melbourne, Australia.

ABOUT

SpineIndex is an archive of independent books on photography and visual culture: photobooks, publications, design books and self-published editions — the kind of work that rarely makes it into bookshop windows or mainstream catalogues. It exists to document, connect, and keep visible a world of publishers, artists, and makers who operate outside conventional distribution. A living reference for anyone who takes this territory seriously — collectors, researchers, students, and the simply curious.
